Perjantaina Oksasen Aakusti tutustutti kaikki ekaluokkalaiset koulun djembeihin.

On Friday Aakusti (Oksanen) introduced the djembe- drum to all 1st graders.

We were exploring all the different sounds these drums can make- e.g. here students are discovering the sounds of Nagini (the snake pet of Voldemort).

..as all of the students were encouraged to discover their own animal-rhythms and sounds from the drum.

At the beginning of the lessons students checked that their thumbs came to school also, yes they did.
