In the following, you can find a song that I introduced to the class in the last sessions. The lyrics are traditional (from a poetsinger called Larin Paraske) and the composition done by me. 

We approached the lyrics with drama educational methods; I asked the children to think how the small animals mentioned in text would be doing their tasks if they were happy, angry etc. And we acted the emotions while singing the song.

In the last sessions we also got familiar with embodied methods in order to learn to play the drum kit. As a warm-up for last weeks lesson we learned the basic beat-rhythm with body percussions; the right hand as hi-hat (the highest notation line/space), left as snare drum (the second highest)and right foot as bass drum (the lowest notes in the staff).
